All-New 2026 BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport Pro Officially Arrives in Malaysia – Neue Klasse Era Begins from RM378,800

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 August 2026 – BMW Malaysia has officially ushered in a new chapter of its electric mobility journey with the launch of the all-new BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport Pro, the first production model based on BMW’s revolutionary Neue Klasse platform. More than just another premium electric SUV, the iX3 introduces an entirely new generation of BMW technology, design philosophy, and digital user experience that will shape the brand’s future EV lineup.

Recognised globally as the 2026 World Car of the Year and 2026 World Electric Vehicle of the Year, the latest iX3 arrives in Malaysia with pricing starting from RM378,800, while the version bundled with BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) is priced at RM399,800.

BMW’s Next-Generation Electric Platform Makes Its Malaysian Debut

The all-new BMW iX3 is the first model to feature BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology, developed around a cutting-edge 800-volt electrical architecture. This new platform promises higher efficiency, significantly faster charging, improved thermal management, and a more refined driving experience.

Power comes from dual electric motors producing a combined 469 hp (345 kW) and 645 Nm of torque, delivered through BMW’s rear-biased xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The result is an impressive 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h.

Adding to its technological leap is BMW’s newly developed Heart of Joy control system, an advanced computing platform that integrates acceleration, braking, steering, regenerative braking and stability control into one intelligent unit. BMW claims the system responds up to ten times faster than conventional vehicle control systems, delivering smoother and more natural driving characteristics.

Up to 805 km of WLTP Driving Range

Energy is supplied by a 108.7 kWh usable battery pack using newly developed cylindrical battery cells in a cell-to-pack configuration. By integrating the battery directly into the vehicle structure, BMW has achieved improved rigidity, better weight distribution and a lower centre of gravity.

The result is an impressive WLTP driving range of up to 805 km, making it one of the longest-range BMW EVs ever offered.

Charging performance is equally impressive. Thanks to its 800V architecture, the iX3 supports DC fast charging of up to 400 kW, allowing drivers to recover up to 372 km of driving range in only 10 minutes under ideal conditions.

BMW Panoramic iDrive Introduces an Entirely New Digital Cockpit

Inside, the iX3 showcases BMW’s most advanced cabin ever introduced.

The highlight is the new BMW Panoramic iDrive, centred around a 43.3-inch BMW Panoramic Vision that stretches almost the entire width of the windscreen, displaying driving information directly within the driver’s field of view.

Rear luggage capacity measures 520 litres, expanding to 1,750 litres when the rear seats are folded. BMW also introduces a 58-litre front storage compartment (frunk) for the first time on one of its production models, providing additional storage for charging cables or smaller luggage.

Other convenience features include a panoramic glass roof, three-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access, rear climate controls and adjustable rear seatbacks.

The BSRI package includes a five-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, six-year unlimited mileage service programme for EVs, an eight-year unlimited mileage high-voltage battery warranty, along with BMW Roadside Assistance and BMW Proactive Care support.
