Mitsubishi Expands East Malaysia Footprint with New 4S Centre in Miri

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is strengthening its presence in East Malaysia with the opening of a new, fully integrated 4S centre in Miri, a move that signals more than just network expansion, but a deeper commitment to customer experience in the region.
Operated by long-time authorised dealer Auto Pacifica, the new facility replaces the previous showroom with a significantly upgraded setup that brings sales, service, spare parts, and body & paint operations under one roof.
A Bigger, Better Customer Experience
Spanning over 21,000 square feet, the new centre is designed to offer a seamless ownership journey, from the moment a customer steps into the showroom to long-term aftersales support.

Inside, visitors are welcomed by a modern display area showcasing Mitsubishi’s latest lineup, including the increasingly talked-about Mitsubishi Xforce. A comfortable lounge and dedicated reception area further enhance the experience, making visits more relaxed whether you’re browsing or servicing your vehicle.
Built for Growing Demand
Beyond aesthetics, the facility is clearly built with efficiency in mind. With 13 service bays and six body & paint bays, the centre is equipped to handle higher volumes while maintaining quality and turnaround time.

All work is handled by Mitsubishi-certified technicians, trained with the brand’s latest diagnostic tools and repair procedures, ensuring customers receive consistent, factory-standard care.
Strategic Growth in Sarawak
According to Takashi Sakamaki, the investment reflects confidence in Miri’s growth potential and the increasing demand for reliable automotive support in the region.
Auto Pacifica, part of the Samling Group, h
as been a Mitsubishi partner since 2009 and now operates three outlets across Sarawak, including in Bintulu and Kota Samarahan. This expanded footprint improves accessibility for customers across the state, particularly in areas where travel distance can significantly impact servicing convenience.
More Than Just a Showroom

The timing of the launch also aligns with Mitsubishi’s push behind the Xforce, a compact SUV aimed at urban and lifestyle-focused buyers. By strengthening its aftersales infrastructure, Mitsubishi is positioning itself to support not just new sales, but long-term ownership satisfaction.
In regions like Sarawak, where downtime and distance can be costly, a well-equipped 4S centre isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a competitive advantage.
