SUPER GT Malaysia Festival 2025 Starts Today – Experience the Thrill Until 28 June!

The roar of Japanese motorsport is back on Malaysian soil as the SUPER GT Malaysia Festival 2025 officially kicks off today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. After a 12-year break and six years since its last international round, the world-renowned SUPER GT championship has returned — and this time, it’s not just a race, it’s a full-throttle festival happening from 26 to 28 June.
Fans can now witness the high-octane action of Round 3 of the 2025 SUPER GT season, the only race held outside of Japan. With 34 race teams across the GT500 and GT300 classes, expect a spectacular 300 km sprint loaded with speed, skill, and stunning machines. The grid also features two special wildcard entries led by Malaysia’s own Jazeman Jaafar and Adrian D’Silva, adding extra homegrown excitement to the lineup.
But there’s much more than racing on the menu. Making its Malaysian debut is the GR86 Cup, a single-make series straight from Japan, alongside the popular Vios Challenge for fans of close-quarters action. On the ground, automakers like Toyota and Nissan will be showing off their latest performance models — complete with special deals exclusive to this event.

Car lovers will also be treated to over 50 legendary JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) icons on display, plus automotive lifestyle booths selling gear, accessories, and official SUPER GT merchandise. If you’ve ever wanted to wear your passion, now’s your chance to grab limited-edition items from tees to windbreakers.
Taking the event beyond motorsport, the Nihon Matsuri cultural zone adds a Japanese festival atmosphere with authentic food, traditional games, performances, and even cosplay. Cosplayers, don’t forget — the top three best-dressed each day will win RM500 in cash prizes.

For those with a Mastercard, there’s even more reason to celebrate. Purchasing Main Grandstand tickets or higher automatically enters you into a lucky draw to win a Toyota GR Supra, styled after the very car racing in GT500 this weekend.
And to close out the three-day festival, the GT Live! Concert on 28 June will light up the night with an all-star lineup featuring KLP48, Naykilla, Jemsii, Kaka Azraff, Fareedpf, Sabhi Saddi, Sara Fajira, and Kaz & Sora — bringing music and motorsport together like never before.

Getting to the circuit is easier than ever, with shuttle services running daily from Sungei Wang Plaza, Subang Parade, and 1 Utama (New Wing) between 10am and 12am. Visit the official SUPER GT Malaysia and Nihon Matsuri Instagram pages for the full schedule and fare details.
Don’t miss a moment — the adrenaline, the culture, the music and the memories all start today and run until 28 June. Get your tickets now and be part of this historic motorsport celebration at Sepang!
