The spotlight was not only on cars at the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, as the prestigious Miss Motor Show pageant made a highly anticipated return after a six-year hiatus.

Held ahead of the motor show’s opening, the grand finale crowned Waranya “Baipor” Homchanthuek as Miss Motor Show 2026, marking a triumphant comeback for one of Thailand’s most iconic automotive-related beauty competitions.

Organised by Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, the contest took place at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, drawing executives, media representatives, and enthusiastic supporters eager to witness the return of the legendary stage.

More Than Beauty: Representing the Modern Automotive Industry

This year’s pageant was aligned with the theme of the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show “The Iconic Synchronicity.”

The concept highlights the seamless harmony between technology, innovation, and design, reflecting the rapid transformation of Thailand’s automotive industry.

In line with that vision, Miss Motor Show 2026 focused on more than just appearance. Contestants were judged based on:

  • Confidence and stage presence
  • Communication skills and intelligence
  • Creativity and personality
  • Potential to represent the automotive industry in the digital era

According to organisers, the competition aims to showcase modern women with strong character and versatile abilities, capable of becoming ambassadors for automotive brands and events.

From 19 Finalists to One Crown

The competition began with 19 finalists, before narrowing down to the Top 10 contestants who advanced to the final round.

Dressed in elegant black evening gowns, the finalists took part in a crucial question-and-answer segment, where they demonstrated their perspectives, wit, and confidence.

After careful deliberation by the judging panel, contestant No.12 – Waranya Homchanthuek (Baipor) emerged as the winner.

  • 1st Runner-Up: Siriprapa Promyotha (Maprang) – No.16
  • 2nd Runner-Up: Lapaslada Tabpradap (Lada) – No.7
  • 3rd Runner-Up: Sophier Stott (Sophier) – No.18
  • 4th Runner-Up: Jennifer Parkin (Jenny) – No.1
  • 5th Runner-Up: Paphada Thamna (Mint) – No.11

The competition offered total prizes worth more than 700,000 baht, further cementing its status as one of Thailand’s most recognised automotive-related pageants.

Meet Miss Motor Show 2026 at the Bangkok Motor Show

Fans and visitors will have the opportunity to meet Baipor and the other finalists during the Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, taking place 25 March – 5 April 2026 at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1–3 in Muang Thong Thani.

The event itself will feature dozens of automotive brands and multiple new vehicle launches, making it one of Southeast Asia’s most important automotive exhibitions.

Alongside the latest vehicles and technologies, the Miss Motor Show representatives will also serve as official ambassadors of the event, welcoming visitors and participating in various promotional activities throughout the show.

With the return of the pageant after six years, Miss Motor Show 2026 not only celebrates beauty but also highlights the evolving role of women in the automotive and media industries.
