iCAUR 03 RWD OFFICIALLY LOCALLY ASSEMBLED IN MALAYSIA RETAINS CBU PRICING AND SPECIFICATIONS AT RM119,740
KUALA LUMPUR, 24th SEPTEMBER 2026 – iCAUR Malaysia has officially commenced local assembly (CKD) operations for the iCAUR 03 RWD, further strengthening its commitment to Malaysian EV buyers. This follows the successful local assembly launch of the all-wheel-drive iCAUR 03 iWD variant earlier in May 2026, completing the locally assembled lineup for the iCAUR 03 model.
Despite transitioning to local assembly, the iCAUR 03 RWD maintains its introductory CBU price point RM119,740 (On-The-Road, without insurance, Pen. Malaysia). The locally assembled variant retains the identical specifications, features, and performance as its imported CBU version.
- Drivetrain & Powertrain: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) with a Single Rear Motor setup.
- Performance Output: Maximum power of 135 kW (184 PS) and a peak torque of 220 Nm.
- Drive Modes: Features 5 selectable driving modes tailored for diverse driving conditions.
- Battery & Range: Comes with a 65.7 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery delivering a driving range of up to 426 km (NEDC).
- Charging Capabilities: Supports up to 80 kW DC fast charging and 6.6 kW AC charging.
Production officially began in September 2026, with first-batch deliveries scheduled to reach customers in October 2026. Local assembly units are currently available in limited supply.
The iCAUR 03 continues to stand out in the EV landscape with its signature Boxy Retro Classic styling, combining rugged character with modern EV appeal.
