Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially introduced the 2025 EQV 300 Avantgarde to our shores, marking the first time this fully electric MPV is available via official distribution channels, handled by Hap Seng Trucks Distribution. Priced at RM450,350 (on-the-road, without insurance), the EQV 300 positions itself as a premium, German-engineered alternative to traditional luxury MPVs like the Toyota Alphard – but with the silent efficiency of electric power.
Performance and Battery
The EQV 300 is powered by a 204 PS, 365 Nm electric motor mounted at the front, paired with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery. It achieves a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 374 km, while older NEDC tests quoted 418 km. Though performance is modest with a top speed of 160 km/h, the focus here is on refined cruising and luxury travel, not high performance.
Charging is convenient and quick – the EQV supports AC charging up to 11 kW and DC fast charging up to 110 kW, allowing 10–80% top-up in just 40 minutes, making it suitable for both urban use and long-distance family trips.
Design and Dimensions
Like its V-Class siblings, the EQV is generously sized at 5,140 mm long, 1,918 mm wide, and 1,923 mm tall, riding on a 3,200 mm wheelbase. It sits on 17-inch alloy wheels and features full LED lighting front and rear, giving it a sleek yet authoritative road presence.

Inside, the EQV 300 adopts a 2-2-3 seating layout with powered sliding doors, making ingress and egress effortless.
