smart #5: Redefining the Premium Electric SUV Experience
Making its Malaysian debut, the smart #5 enters the mid-size electric SUV segment with a design focused on off-road capability, smart functionality, and luxury comfort.

Designed with purpose, the smart #5 features a boxy silhouette, frameless doors, and a panoramic halo roof, establishing a strong road presence. Measuring 4,695mm in length with a 2,900mm wheelbase, its proportions emphasize space and strength. Dual-tone mirrors, ‘floating’ smart logo wheels, and creative exterior detailing inject personality into its rugged yet sophisticated appearance.
Inside, luxury meets innovation. A single-button Comfort Mode reclines the co-driver and rear seats for relaxation, while ambient lighting with 256 colour choices, oak wood trims, and a king-size in-car suite mode enhance comfort. Storage is ample, with 1,530 litres of cargo space, a 72-litre frunk, and 34 cleverly placed compartments.
The tech-forward cabin runs on smart OS powered by the AMD V2000 chip and Unreal Engine, offering a futuristic digital experience. Highlights include:

For outdoor and off-road enthusiasts, the smart #5 includes off-road modes (Sand, Snow, Mud, Rock, Adaptive) and a 3.3kW V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) output, perfect for powering devices or appliances during adventures.
Exclusive Launch: smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition
Alongside the smart #5 preview, smart Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the smart #1 BRABUS Limited Edition, developed in collaboration with BRABUS Kuala Lumpur. This performance-focused variant features:
