Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition Unveiled – Features 24K Gold Accents and Premium Alpaca Wool Carpets, Priced at RM542,000

Zeekr has introduced an ultra-luxurious version of its flagship MPV, the 009 Grand, with the launch of the new Collector’s Edition. Designed with exclusivity and refinement in mind, this latest variant features several bespoke upgrades, including genuine 24-carat gold accents and premium interior materials, at a price of 899,000 yuan (approximately RM542,000).
One of the key highlights of the Collector’s Edition is its use of real gold. According to Car News China, each vehicle is fitted with three grams of 24K gold, used to plate the brand and model emblems as well as the self-leveling wheel caps. Further gold detailing can be found in the hand-painted double pinstripes along the body, as well as on the bumpers, side skirts, cant rails, and C-pillars. The 20-inch forged wheels are also hand-polished and finished with PVD (physical vapour deposition) coating, giving them a distinct dark chrome appearance.
Inside the vehicle, chrome accents have been replaced with gold-toned trim, accompanied by gold seat belts and Zeekr monogram embroidery beside the rear-mounted 43-inch display. The floor is lined with luxurious carpets made from the wool of Andean alpacas, elevating the cabin’s comfort and exclusivity.

The seating layout remains the same as the standard 009 Grand, offering two business-class style rear seats with 24-way adjustment, heating, cooling, and massage functions, all upholstered in aniline leather. Additional features include an eight-inch rear tablet, leather-wrapped foldable table, crystal control elements, an 18-litre hot and cold refrigerator, electrochromic rear windows, and a high-end Yamaha 31-speaker sound system rated at 3,000 watts, complete with headrest-integrated speakers. There is also a vase holder next to the rear TV, and a privacy mode that darkens the rear cabin and raises the smart glass partition between the front and rear compartments.
Powertrain and performance remain unchanged from the standard model. The Collector’s Edition is equipped with dual electric motors producing a combined 789 PS (580 kW) and 810 Nm of torque, enabling the MPV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h. The vehicle also features dual-chamber adaptive air suspension to enhance ride comfort and stability.
Energy is supplied by a 108 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 702 km under the CLTC cycle – though real-world range is expected to be closer to 500 km. The 009 Grand supports 5C DC fast charging, enabling charging speeds above 500 kW, and is also capable of vehicle-to-vehicle charging at rates up to 60 kW.
With its elevated design and premium features, the Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition is priced 110,000 yuan (RM66,300) above the standard Grand model and significantly higher than the most expensive Zeekr 009 variant available in Malaysia, which is priced at RM359,800.
