Jetour Dashing C-SUV to Launch in April 2025

Jetour Auto Malaysia is preparing to introduce its first model, the Dashing C-segment SUV, with an official launch set for April this year. Nearly a year after making its first public appearance in Malaysia, the Jetour Dashing is now ready for its full-fledged local debut. The announcement was confirmed by Jetour Auto Malaysia via its official Facebook page.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Jetour is a Chinese automaker under the Chery Holding Group. However, it operates independently from Chery’s other sub-brands in Malaysia, which fall under the Chery International umbrella.
Jetour Dashing Set to Hit the Malaysian Market Soon

Positioned as a competitive C-segment SUV, the Jetour Dashing sports a bold and dynamic design with a sporty, coupe-inspired silhouette. Dimensionally, it stands alongside other C-segment SUVs in the Malaysian market, measuring 4,590 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,685 mm in height, and offering a 2,720 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the Dashing comes exclusively as a two-row, five-seater SUV, featuring a well-equipped and comfortable cabin. Notable highlights include leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 50W wireless charging pad, and a dual 10.25-inch display setup that integrates the digital instrument cluster with the infotainment system, which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

For right-hand drive (RHD) markets like Malaysia, the Dashing will be available as a full-ICE (internal combustion engine) variant. Under the hood, it packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 156 HP and 230 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels (FWD) via a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
As previously confirmed, the Jetour Dashing will be locally assembled (CKD) in Malaysia. Jetour Auto Malaysia is positioning this C-SUV as a key part of its expansion strategy for 2025, with plans to establish 20 outlets nationwide. At least 10 of these, including both 3S and 4S centers, are set to open within the first quarter of the year. While official pricing and launch dates have yet to be disclosed, more details are expected as the April 2025 launch approaches.
