46th Bangkok International Motor Show: Grand Prix Joins Forces with 54 Renowned Brands to Boost Thailand’s Automotive Industry

Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, in collaboration with over 54 renowned automotive brands, will host the 46th “Bangkok International Motor Show” under the theme “The Talk of Sensuous Automotive.” This theme, which translates to “A Conversation in the Language of Automobiles,” highlights a design philosophy that connects to the emotions, power, desire, and inspiration associated with vehicles. The event will take place from March 26 to April 6, 2025, at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 and Forum Hall 4, Muang Thong Thani.

Dr. Prajin Iemlamnao, Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, commented, “This year’s show reflects the design philosophy of automobiles that communicate powerful emotions. It is not just a display of innovation, but a celebration of creativity, development, and aesthetic experiences through the ‘language’ of automobiles.”

Mr. Jaturon Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the event, added, “We have 54 exhibitors from Europe and Asia, including 41 car manufacturers and 13 motorcycle brands. This year, we’re also seeing the addition of electric vehicle (EV) brands entering the Thai market, such as ZEEKR, OMODA&JAECOO, CHERY, KINGGEN, JUNEYAO, RIDDARA, and GEELY. Huawei will also showcase its in-car navigation technology. There’s also an exciting debut from electric motorcycle brand YADEA. The number of Chinese exhibitors has increased by 14 compared to last year.”

“The event will feature not only new cars and motorcycles from both combustion and electric vehicle manufacturers, but we’ve also expanded Forum Hall 4 with a dedicated space of over 9,000 square meters for vehicle accessories. This will include parts for both EVs and traditional combustion vehicles. We’re supporting parts manufacturers and distributors who are looking to enter the Thai market, and we’re excited to offer a global platform like the Bangkok International Motor Show for these connections.”

“We’re also partnering with Nanjing Chuangqi Exhibition from China, which will display auto parts and electric motorcycle accessories from China. This is the first time an exhibition of this scale is directly aimed at automotive industry professionals, creating valuable business networks. Over 3,800 square meters in Forum Hall 4 will host this part of the event, running from March 24-30, 2025.”

In addition to car and motorcycle exhibitions, visitors can also explore luxury used cars, lifestyle products, fashion, amulets, competitions, and various fun activities within the event halls. Another exciting addition is the MU-NIVERSE event, showcasing Thai mysticism and culture for younger generations. From April 2-6, 2025, in Forum Hall 4, the event will feature astrology, auspicious license plates, sacred charms, and more.

Mr. Anothai Iemlamnao, Chief Production Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, shared, “This year’s activities include the E-Racing experience, where visitors can try out simulated car racing, and we’ve also partnered with Japan’s R.C.S. (Runbike Championship Series) to host the ‘Grandprix Runbike Championship With R.C.S.’. This event will serve as an important step for promoting youth sports in Thailand, alongside booths showcasing kids’ products, sports items, and lifestyle goods.”

Mr. Peerapong Iemlamnao, CEO of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, stated, “We are always working to innovate and enhance the experience for both exhibitors and attendees, particularly through the integration of digital technology. This year, we’ve developed a LINE Official Account for easy registration and improved communication with visitors. This platform will also introduce new products and services in the Auto and Lifestyle sectors to support business growth.”

“We’ve also introduced the Fullloop program to gather real-time feedback from visitors. Attendees can fill out a brief survey to provide feedback, which will allow us to immediately analyze and improve the event. Gathering such insights is crucial to improve our events and better serve our attendees.”

The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show is expected to generate over 10% more revenue than last year, with the automotive industry holding steady despite economic uncertainties and challenges. Although household debt is high and credit regulations remain tight, there is still strong demand for both new and used cars.

For the first time, press day will be held on March 24, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and the official opening ceremony will take place on March 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with VIP access available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
