Bridgestone Tires Equipped on More Than 1,000 Official Vehicles for Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Bridgestone, as a global partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris this year, is committed to enhancing the experience for athletes, staff, fans, and visitors through initiatives focused on safety, sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation.

In collaboration with Toyota, Bridgestone supports the electrified passenger vehicle fleet by supplying tires for hydrogen-powered mobility solutions. For Paris 2024, Bridgestone will supply premium tires for over 1,000 Toyota vehicles, including 500 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles and two FCEV buses, as well as 250 Toyota electric Accessible People Movers equipped with advanced ENLITEN technology.

The Accessible People Movers, designed for people with disabilities, will transport athletes, staff, and fans during the Games, equipped with Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 tires for comfort and low rolling resistance, maximizing fuel efficiency.

In partnership with Decathlon, Bridgestone will supply more than 600 bicycles for non-motorized transport across Paris 2024 venues and the Olympic and Paralympic Village, benefiting athletes, volunteers, and staff. Post-Games, around 500 bicycles will be donated to local community organizations.

Moreover, Bridgestone will provide high-performance motorcycle tires for over 20 motorcycles used in road course events, including prototypes like the Kawasaki hydrogen motorcycle.

To ensure vehicle safety and performance, Bridgestone’s Speedy and First Stop tire and maintenance service centers will be available throughout the event, offering tire checks, automotive services, and glass-related services for nearly 3,000 cars participating in the Games.
