Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has officially announced the pricing for the Golf Mk8.5 1.5 eTSI R-Line, marking the arrival of the facelifted version of its iconic hatchback in the local market. Priced at RM185,990, the new Golf comes with an attractive early bird incentive for the first 50 customers, offering a RM6,000 rebate that reduces the price to RM179,990.

This promotional price includes the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP), which bundles a 5-year free maintenance program, a 5-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and 5 years of roadside assistance, adding significant peace of mind for new owners.

Familiar proportions, refined presence

Dimensionally, the Mk8.5 Golf retains the compact proportions that have defined the model for generations. It measures 4,289 mm in length, 1,799 mm in width, and 1,483 mm in height, riding on a 2,631 mm wheelbase. Practicality remains a strong suit, with luggage capacity reaching up to 1,237 litres when the rear seats are folded.

Visually, the R-Line package adds a sportier edge to the Golf’s timeless design.
