Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Drives Ahead with Innovation and Growth in 2025
KUALA LUMPUR – Mercedes-Benz Malaysia concludes 2025 on a strong and confident note, reinforcing its leadership in the luxury automotive segment through an ambitious product strategy, accelerated electrification, and a sharpened focus on customer experience.
The year marked a pivotal phase for the brand as it responded to shifting market dynamics, growing EV adoption, and rising expectations for digital-first ownership. With a robust portfolio, expanded charging ecosystem, and strategic partnerships, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has laid solid groundwork for sustained momentum into 2026.
Expanding the Luxury Portfolio with “Power of Choice”
At the heart of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s 2025 strategy was its commitment to offering customers freedom of choice. By continuing to offer Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and fully Electric (BEV) models, the brand ensured it remained relevant across diverse lifestyle needs and performance expectations.
Throughout the year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduced 11 battery electric vehicle models, further strengthening its EQ lineup. Notable introductions included the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV, delivering an all-electric ultra-luxury experience, alongside high-performance and heritage-driven models such as the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Final Edition and the Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology, the electric evolution of the iconic G-Class.
The plug-in hybrid range also expanded with models like the GLE 400 e 4MATIC, offering up to 114 km of all-electric driving range (WLTP), balancing efficiency with everyday usability.

Accelerating EV Readiness Nationwide
Recognising that EV ownership extends beyond the vehicle itself, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia continued to invest in charging accessibility. In collaboration with leading charge point operators such as Gentari, EV Connection (JomCharge), DC Handal, and chargeEV, the company significantly expanded its public charging footprint.
A key highlight was the introduction of co-branded charging locations at premium destinations, seamlessly integrating EV infrastructure into customers’ lifestyles. New sites launched in 2025 included Bamboo Hills Kuala Lumpur, Eco Ardence Setia Alam, Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, and Nilai Springs Golf & Country Club.
These initiatives support Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s long-term vision of making electric mobility convenient, accessible, and aligned with luxury living.
Elevating Ownership Through Digitalisation and Service Excellence
Beyond product innovation, 2025 saw Mercedes-Benz Malaysia deepen its focus on customer experience. Service operations were further digitalised through paperless workshops, while in-car connectivity was enhanced via the Mercedes-Benz In-Car Store and Mercedes me Collision Care, offering customers added peace of mind and seamless support.
These efforts contributed to Mercedes-Benz Malaysia being recognised as Champion of the Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Care Award, underlining its commitment to world-class service standards.
Investing in People: Building Future-Ready Talent
Talent development remained a key pillar of the brand’s strategy. In 2025, 42 technicians graduated from the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (AMA) Programme, earning globally recognised certifications to support increasingly advanced vehicle technologies.
Additionally, 37 retail professionals from Malaysia and Singapore were recognised for excellence, reflecting the brand’s continued investment in human capital to deliver consistent, premium customer interactions across the region.

Strategic Partnerships and Lifestyle Integration
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also strengthened its presence beyond the showroom through strategic collaborations. A notable partnership with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) introduced exclusive privileges for elite customers, including Enrich Platinum members and Business Class passengers.
Benefits included #MyMercedesRewards, curated lifestyle experiences, and seamless airport transfers — reinforcing the brand’s positioning as a luxury mobility partner rather than just an automotive manufacturer.
Driving Social Impact Beyond Mobility
Corporate responsibility remained integral to Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s operations. The brand continued its MobileKids road safety programme, educating children on essential road safety skills, while the Grants for Good initiative supported local NGOs and social enterprises focused on education, environmental sustainability, and social welfare.
These initiatives reflect the brand’s belief that sustainability encompasses both environmental responsibility and community empowerment.
