Hyundai Motor Malaysia and EON Berhad Strengthen Partnership to Expand Retail Network

Kuala Lumpur – Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) and Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) have formalised a renewed collaboration with the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI), signalling a strategic move to further strengthen Hyundai’s presence and accessibility across Malaysia.
The agreement reflects Hyundai’s continued long-term commitment to the Malaysian market, focusing not only on network expansion, but also on delivering sustained customer value, service excellence and greater convenience for customers nationwide.
Two New Dealerships Planned for High-Growth Regions
Under the LOI, Hyundai and EON will jointly develop two new Hyundai dealerships in Klang Valley and Penang, with both outlets targeted to open in the first half of 2026. These locations were identified based on strong market potential, growing customer demand and rising interest in hybrid and advanced mobility solutions.
The new dealerships will bring Hyundai’s sales, service and aftersales capabilities closer to key population centres, supporting the brand’s efforts to deepen customer trust while improving ownership experience and accessibility.

Beyond physical expansion, the collaboration is designed to strengthen Hyundai’s reach into new customer segments while reinforcing confidence through a consistent and reliable nationwide retail experience.
