Putrajaya Road Closure Alert: Persiaran Perdana Shutdown for Rancakkan MADANI
Starting 23 November 2025, Putrajaya will see phased road closures on Persiaran Perdana (Precinct 2) in preparation for the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme. Initially, only two lanes of Persiaran Perdana will be closed (from Jalan Kemerdekaan to Jalan Pembangunan) until 26 November.
From 27 November to 10 December, the road is expected to be fully closed, particularly affecting the area around Dataran Putrajaya. This closure is linked to the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention and the MADANI event scheduled for 5–7 December.
If you’re driving through Putrajaya during this period, plan ahead. Traffic officers will be present to guide motorists, but alternative routes or public transport might be safer.
For car enthusiasts or content creators, this presents both a challenge and an opportunity: event-related restrictions might hamper access, but the closure might also offer unique photo or video opportunities (if allowed) in otherwise busy civic precincts.
