Alfa Romeo Returns to Malaysia with Giulia & Stelvio Veloce, Junior and Tonale to Follow Soon

After more than a decade away, Alfa Romeo is officially back in Malaysia. The iconic Italian marque makes its return under a new private distributor, DLSB Partners, and has previewed two models, the Giulia Veloce and Stelvio Veloce, both now open for booking.
A Sharper, More Modern Alfa Romeo
The facelifted Giulia and Stelvio shown in Malaysia are the updated 2022 versions, featuring redesigned LED matrix 3+3 headlights, refreshed taillights, and subtle interior enhancements. Despite being different body types, the Giulia as a sedan and the Stelvio as an SUV, both share Alfa Romeo’s signature muscular lines and the iconic “Trilobo” front grille.

At the rear, the Giulia and Stelvio offer slightly different treatments to suit their silhouettes but both retain a sporty stance with dual exhaust outlets.

Distinct Wheel Designs and Premium Cabin Experience
The Giulia arrives with 19-inch wheels, while the Stelvio sits on 20-inch wheels, both wearing Alfa Romeo’s iconic five-hole “teledial” design paired with red Brembo brake calipers.

Inside, both models share a refined interior featuring:
- 8.8-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
- 12.3-inch digital cluster with three customisable themes: Evolved, Relax, and Heritage
- 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system
- Wireless charger
Alfa Romeo’s racing influence continues with fixed aluminium paddle shifters and a steering-wheel-mounted engine start/stop button.

Performance: 280 hp Across Both Models
Both the Giulia and Stelvio Veloce are powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering:
- 280 hp / 400 Nm
- Paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic
The Giulia sends power to the rear wheels, while the Stelvio uses the Q4 all-wheel drive system.
Both sprint from 0–100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, with top speeds of 240 km/h (Giulia) and 230 km/h (Stelvio).
Additional performance features include:
- Alfa Link double-wishbone front suspension
- Multi-link rear suspension
- Q2 mechanical self-locking differential

Advanced Safety Features
The safety suite includes:
- Adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist
- Traffic sign recognition
- Blind spot monitoring
- Lane keep assist
- Driver attention assist
