Three Categories to Claim Your Crown
The competition is designed for maximum inclusivity, featuring three distinct categories:
- Individual – Male Category: A head-to-head sprint where male participants race to change one tire in the fastest, most accurate time.
- Individual – Female Category: Dedicated to promoting inclusivity, this category encourages female participants to showcase their capability and speed in handling a tire change.
- Team Category – Workshop vs Workshop: The stakes are highest here! Workshops will field a 2–3 member team to represent their brand. Teams must change two tires (front & rear) on the same side of the vehicle. The fastest and most accurate team will earn the coveted title of “Raja Tukar Tayar – Workshop Champion.”
More Than Just Speed: The Challenge Flow
The ‘Raja Tukar Tayar’ competition is a comprehensive test of both fitness and mechanical skill. Participants follow a simplified but intense game flow:
- Start and Sprint: Participants wait at Point A for the signal, then sprint to Point B to hit the timer start button.
- Grab and Go: A quick run to Point E to retrieve the tire.
- The Main Event: Carry the tire to Point C (the vehicle) and execute the tire change using provided tools like a jack, impact gun, and digital wrench.
- Finish Strong: Once the tire is securely installed, the participant must sprint back to Point B to stop the timer.
The win is determined by the fastest valid time after judicial review. Accuracy is paramount, as judges will meticulously inspect the tire to confirm it is properly secured with the correct cross pattern sequence. Speed without precision will result in time penalties or even disqualification.
