Kuala Lumpur, 9 September 2025 — iCAUR Malaysia today launched the iCAUR 03, its first model introduced to the local market. Promoted as Malaysia’s first fully electric rugged SUV, this C-segment model is set to pioneer the BEV adventure category, promising a combination of performance, safety, and superior versatility.

Design & Dimensions: Function Meets Bold Form
Measuring 4,406 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, 1,715 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm, the iCAUR 03 combines purpose-driven design with practical daily features. The i-BOX design approach, sharp lines, dynamic LED signature, and bold SUV stance emphasize its capability as a rugged vehicle. Its short front and rear overhangs support approach and departure angles of 28° and 32°, respectively, and a climbing gradient of up to 55%.
Built for Safety and Engineering Excellence
At its core, the iCAUR 03 prioritizes safety and engineering. It introduces the iCARE safety system, featuring the segment’s first aluminum body and a monocoque chassis with anti-rust protection for up to 30 years. This structure delivers 31,882 Nm of torsional rigidity, surpassing even modern sports cars.
The robust construction not only enhances collision protection but also supports smoother handling. A 4-layer IPx8 battery shield adds to its safety, with a high-temperature mica ceramic top guard and a 10mm reinforced aluminum base plate to ensure reliable protection both on and off-road.

The iCAUR 03 is offered in two powertrain configurations:
- 2WD version (rear-wheel drive):
- Motor output: 135 kW (184 PS)
- Torque: 220 Nm
- iWD (Intelligent All-Wheel Drive) version:

- Motor output: 205 kW (279 PS)

At the heart of both variants is a compact, powerful 6-in-1 electric drive module, which integrates the motor control unit, onboard charger, and converter for responsive and smooth driving — from city roads to muddy trails.

Battery replacement guarantee is also offered: one-to-one replacement if battery health falls below 70%.
Wallbox installation is available through EVC and Kineta at a standard cost of RM1,388, borne by the customer.

Despite aggressive EV price drops in Malaysia, iCAUR takes a different approach by focusing on long-term ownership value.
The iCAUR 03 is priced at:
- RM119,800 for the 2WD version
- RM129,800 for the iWD version
For a bolder appearance, the Black Phantom Edition is available for an additional RM20,000, featuring:

Local Assembly & Expansion Plans
Initially offered as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) import, local assembly of the iCAUR 03 will begin in January 2026 at Chery Corporate Malaysia’s plant in Shah Alam, alongside OMODA and JAECOO models.
